Happy Birthday Scarlett Johansson!
« on: Sun, 23 November 2014, 03:25:55 »
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I just watched Lucy..  the movie is so preposterous.. they didn't bother hiding any lunatic elements.. even basic continuity and scene goofs were just let slide..

STILL... I watched the WHOLE movie...

Anybody see Under the Skin?  Oh yea.

Yup..  also watched that whole movie...   Tp4 usually just flip through movies...

But when it comes to ScarJo  You watch every scene, and do alot of back and forth pausing.. and zooming in .. and changing the contrast, black levels, white levels, so you can see things better..

/I've said too much.

Yeah, give me some Meryl Streep or Helen Mirren...mmmm, yeah boy.

But, seriously, I don't get the "ScarJo" obsession.  She's a mediocre actress and.I don't find her that attractive.  She has one of the best asses in Hollywood and that's about it.

That's why I said one of the worst I've ever seen. It's in the category just shy of; "so bad it's amazing" like the Room or Birdemic, but it's in the; "so bad it's really bad" category.

I basically cringed the entire way through at how poorly it was written and the acting.

She's not even a good actress, name one movie in which her acting was even remotely compelling. Eh, suppose she could be worse, she could be Megan Fox.

I will admit, I liked it at first.  But not so much upon subsequent viewings.  The main character's actions and thoughts just led to many face palms.
