Ascension.. Scyfy channel miniseries, Tp4 just watched the first 2 aired episodes.

There's like.. NO geek stuff in it at all..  it's just young girls walking around being pretty + 1 Tricia Helfer..

ST is the only real scifi...

Equal parts science and fiction and phaser fire.

The attractive females are an added bonus.

I think they opted for this series, because it's cheap to make.... they don't have HBO stacks for the CGI and costumes..
