I sort of speak French as a second language (poorly, I might add), but I'd like to improve.  :)  So can you tell me why you use 'nous' in the second sentence?  Isn't that asking "If *we* are superior..."?

Other than that, I understood everything you said!  That makes me happy.   ;D  (not that it was particularly difficult, but oh well :)) )

@ jdcarpe : how did the baguette quest went today ?

I sort of speak French as a second language (poorly, I might add), but I'd like to improve.  :)  So can you tell me why you use 'nous' in the second sentence?  Isn't that asking "If *we* are superior..."?

Other than that, I understood everything you said!  That makes me happy.   ;D  (not that it was particularly difficult, but oh well :)) )

Just noticed I made a small typo (il instead of ils) , but that doesn't change the meaning .

In english the sentence would be :
If they are superior to us , they certainly chose french and ISO Azerty .

Nous is not subject , he is object in the sentence .
