I am about as lily white as they come, except for being like 1/64th Cherokee, so...

On the other hand, I love sushi, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food, was into J-Rock for a while, like some anime, used to collect asian ball-jointed dolls, and I taught myself hirigana and katakana one afternoon as a teenager back in the 90s with a basic knowledge of the characters representing syllables, knowledge of everyone's romanized names and attacks, and a few Japanese volumes of the Sailor Moon manga. So, I'm kind of a recovering weeaboo?
