What's your favorite video game music? It could be from an overall series or from one particular title.

I cast my vote for a toss up between the Castlevania series and the Mega Man series. No way to choose, they are both unmatched for catchy tunes IMO.

One of the most memorable soundtracks in my mind is from Bioshock, especially Bioshock Inifnite. The time period music, altered and modernized resonates with me constantly.

I really like all the artist for Hotline Miami as well! The mood of the music in that game is perfect!!!

Almost forgot one of my favorite VG soundtracks of all time, Chrono Cross. A lot of people hate on the game, which is debatable, but you can't deny the beautiful and atmospheric music that lends an appropriately dream-like feel to the game. I would highly recommend downloading the soundtrack if you like Mitsuda's music, or simply love gorgeously lush soundscapes and rousing orchestrals.

It has to do with the fact that the youtube tags in SMF on this forum don't support https, and browsers by default won't show 'insecure' content on an https connection (which GH is now).  I'm sure there's an update for this particular mod (bbcode) out there that fixes this issue, but it hasn't been done yet.

Metal Gear Solid 2 - Arsenal's Guts <- one of the best prices of music ever made for a game IMO.
It's creepy, high tech sounding and is a perfect fit for the game. It's amazingly well placed in the coolest most mind bending part of one of the best games ever made.
