My uncle has 3 sons, None of which got through highschool.

Eldest son, shelled out for 2.5 wives.. yes, 2 point 5...

Stay in school kids pleaseeeee..

This uncle of mine is now camping out in his last remaining residence in the mountains raising chickens..

I went to visit him today.. The chickens look really good, he's got his own rice paddy too.. And he's made rice wine, I'm assuming it's used to drown his disappointment.

Then again,, he seems pretty happy, so, hey,, maybe this was the lesson, mountain + chickens = happiness

Also, wtf is up with these ridiculous dowry .. he had married his daughter off with 2.6 million Yuan dowry apartment

tp4 on that next level status...I am glad I stayed in school. I'm getting better with ramen (though stuff in the states doesn't compare from what I hear), need to get an ergodox or 3 and run "restaurant" in China so I can be half as awesome as you. Because

The only think you need now is to learn Chinese... I've heard getting a chinese girlfriend helps..

It sounds awesome. There are lots of things that sound weird, but are tasty. My most recent discovery is pickled watermelon rinds.

Hahaha.. that's the japan style kind where they add food coloring.. it's not naturally that color..

Ginger is a very pale yellow, depending on how large/ripe it is..

dowry is still a thing for all chinawomen, even in the US, no matter how Americanized you are/will be unless you're intended wife is adopted w/ ZERO asian female friends, Dowry will be brought up. 99% of ppl will say, **** this old ass tradition, i'm starting a new life with your daughter, i don't have to pay you. 1% will demand it, **** them and their ancient ways.
