Safe here too, but heavily showed. They talk of about 110 killed, simultaneous attacks at 3 point :
  • France - Germany football match where they used grenades (no injuries)
  • Pubs near Republic where they shooted all the pubs in the street (around 42 killed)
  • A rock concert at the Bataclan where the shooted the audience during 15minutes, reloading several times (over 70 killed)

I'm sick of this stupid world. What is worth taking someone's life ?

I don't mean to be rude, but I think you mean "shot" (past tense of 'shoot') instead of "shouted".  Just trying to help.

The scale of this attack is tragic. I hope that nobody here has any family or friends who were injured or had to witness these events.

I've seen a lot of people on social media claim that their heart goes out to the families of those injured while also claiming that "terrorism has no religion" and that "only 0.01% of Muslims agree with these actions". I just hope nobody here will make such statements, as the two statements are mutually exclusive. The latter statement is false and only helps to perpetuate an attitude and environment in Europe which allows these actions to take place, which conflicts with the former.

Attacks like these only make me more steadfast in my views. While nothing can reverse this or possibly replace the people who were lost, I do hope that it will cause people to think long and hard about the direction their countries are heading in. Europe Awake.

Religion might not have anything to do with this but it is religion that is being twisted as a tool to brian washed these crazies to do stuff like this.

The rich think they can police the world. Sigh....  If only this were true.  Sigh......     When the British were here, when the natives said fk off,  there's little they could do.

Given that genocide is not an option.  No amount of military occupation is enough to truly conquer the Islamic domain.   I really wish they'd try something else.

I'm safe boyz
but you are not in Paris, mate.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

The country is mourning and will be paralyzed for the next couples of days. Lot of places are closed and it seems that curfews will be in place.

We're still mourning and slowly realising the extent of this event and how it will change a lof of things in France.
But we can't let the mourning of today turn into hate tomorrow. Hate is never the answer. That would make of us people just as bad as them.

Also please people, educate yourself, muslim isn't the ennemy. Some of the muslims are the ennemy.
I have not read it myself but serious intellectuals say that Islam isn't a vindictive religion and that the precepts of the Kuran are being distorded (I'll read the Kuran in a very close future). That wouldn't be the first time that weak-minded people are being lobotomized to serve "bigger purposes".

I also hope no one is forgetting that the West lead by the US is responsible for thousands of death in the East because of wars that should have never happened.
West was the terrorist in those countries.

people that managed to escape, bodies on the floor, people being dragged,
the woman hanging by the window is saying "I can't hold anymore, I'm pregnant"
Meanwhile this pig of a journalist is filming not helping

He ended up helping, saving an injured American but getting shot in the arm in the process. That being said, I don't get what his thought process was when he was filming like that and asking "Qu'est-ce qui se passe?" repeatedly when people were obviously in distress.

Do you honestly believe that most Muslims don't condemn these attacks? Most of the Muslim refugees here in Europe had to flee from their home countries because of ISIL ffs!
Here's an article you should read. Muslims hate ISIL way more than non-Muslims do. After all the vast majority of ISIL's victims are Muslims.

This quote comes to mind:
Quote
How many Muslim children have to be lined up and executed by the Taliban before the world recognizes that the oppressed do not deserve to be categorized with their oppressors?

And terrorism has no religion because it is not a person. It is an action, and religion is a tool that can be used to convince people to commit such an action.

What happened in Paris was a tragedy, but the attack shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone. France has been combating ISIL and other Islamic militants since 2013 and if you bomb them then they're going to bomb you back.
To quote some ISIL **** from one of their videos:
Quote
As long as you keep bombing you will not live in peace. You will even fear travelling to the market
In the end.. the keyboard's most grand form of existence is as an ethereal bridge between man and machine..    Each depression of the keys, evanescent.. Our transitory thoughts crashing into the web, carving canyons through the internet wasteland such that life may once again flourish..

I should have been far more clear actually. I didn't properly present my thoughts. You're right, the vast majority of Muslims are against IS and some other terrorist groups, since they not only act against the West but also certain sects of Islam. However, that does not mean that the vast majority of Muslims don't have extremist views. Here are two sources : (1) (2) I believe the first to be biased (Ben Shapiro is a Jewish Zionist, so there's that), so I instead looked towards the second, which is the resource quoted in the video. I believe it to be mostly free of bias. After looking at that source I found the video to be exaggerated in some areas; the numbers that I came to were not quite as high, but were still just as shocking.

Terrorism at this current moment in time absolutely does have an associated religion - a religion that is used to provoke its use - Islam.

The attack is not only the product of bombing IS but also of the immigration policy that France (along with the rest of the EU) has had for the past few decades, the lack of integration that comes along with it, and of course the idiotic refugee "crisis".

Talked to one of my Muslim friends today. His name is Zaif, and he's from the West Bank. He teared up as he talked about how awful what's happened in Paris is. He said he can't understand how these people can claim to be Muslim and yet do those awful things.

I'm not Muslim, but I truly believe that many (maybe most) Muslims don't support terrorism, and on the contrary condemn any terrorism especially that done in the name of Islam. Just thought I would throw that out there.
I'm back.

On the topic of  "Religion of peace/violence/whatever" and "Muslim countries" this video is worth watching.
In the end.. the keyboard's most grand form of existence is as an ethereal bridge between man and machine..    Each depression of the keys, evanescent.. Our transitory thoughts crashing into the web, carving canyons through the internet wasteland such that life may once again flourish..

Read this article recently and it was a very good read: http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2015/03/what-isis-really-wants/384980/

Stuff like this saddens me. My thoughts are with Europe as they continue to endure the struggle of dealing with the burden of the Middle East.
