Got today off work, getting a haircut then heading to the pub for some pool before meeting up with work people for our Christmas do.

The weekend proper will probably start with a hangover and the weather will be crap, but hopefully today makes up for it!

Annandale is a suburb in the same city that I live in... Do you perchance live in Townsville?

This was going to be my first weekend at home for a while.  32 degrees or so each day, and it's not going to be much less than that inside, so not very pleasant.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'm finally getting out there and making friends after a nasty breakup, so I have a LAN party tomorrow.  I'm sure by the end of the night everyone will want a mech (or want to kill me because I'm bringing my model m)

Glad you're ready for a fun weekend!

My copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X is being delivered today, so RIP weekend.

Good for you. I'd go on a hike or something fun outdoors (Canada, eh? It seems nice even if it's winter). Remind yourself how big the world is and how some people have much bigger problems. Or go the opposite route and think of how silly some people's problems are (just read Clack/Bro Caps threapy threads :)) )

Thanks man, I'm pretty over it at this point.  I'm still young, so there'll be plenty of opportunity to meet new people.

Also, LAN tonight!  I'll probably post a few pictures.

Actually yesterday was hot, blisteringly so in the direct sun but bearable in the shade (or when a few light clouds scudded past overhead).

Today was supposed to be about the same, but it is early afternoon now and still only 27 degrees.  I can see a few patches of blue sky now.  Wondering if it is going to hit the max before the alleged cool change arrives.

Got today off work, getting a haircut then heading to the pub for some pool before meeting up with work people for our Christmas do.

The weekend proper will probably start with a hangover and the weather will be crap, but hopefully today makes up for it!

Sounds a fun weekend and how about your christmas going? may be need some home decorations

Today wasn't as hot as it was forecast, but it was very humid.  A little drizzle on the way home, and I was sweating profusely by the time I finished my 20 minute walk.

I think we've kinda killed the joy in this thread, oops.

Sorry OP :p

Actually yesterday was hot, blisteringly so in the direct sun but bearable in the shade (or when a few light clouds scudded past overhead).

Today was supposed to be about the same, but it is early afternoon now and still only 27 degrees.  I can see a few patches of blue sky now.  Wondering if it is going to hit the max before the alleged cool change arrives.

cold to death  :(

Today wasn't as hot as it was forecast, but it was very humid.  A little drizzle on the way home, and I was sweating profusely by the time I finished my 20 minute walk.

I think we've kinda killed the joy in this thread, oops.

Sorry OP :p

I didn't think he's replied once after starting the thread. He must think we're all a bunch of Scrooge's and quit GH =( Good work fellas haha
