The struggles of artisan identity...
« on: Fri, 12 February 2016, 17:38:27 »
Found this blog when researching clacks yesterday, I found it rather amusing.
Not super familiar with the whole "tumblr" community that the Internet is making fun of but the little I know made this a fun read :p

http://undervaluedartisan.tumblr.com/

I wonder who's behind this one :D

I'm so confused, I first thought it was about prostitution but now seems like somebody is trying to act like a keycap?

I sexually Identify as a Click Clack Keycap. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of sitting on Kustoms, and getting smashed in the face by foreigners. People say to me that a person being a Click Clack Keycap is Impossible and I’m ****ing retarded but I don’t care, I’m beautiful. I’m having a guy from Classifieds install RGB LEDs, 62g gold plated springs and Krytox lube on my switches. From now on I want you guys to call me “Friday” and respect my right to get run the **** over by Synjin and killed needlessly. If you can’t accept me you’re a Kappaphobe and need to check your key cap privilege. Thank you for being so understanding.

no, it's obviously the keycap writing about its struggles with its identity. no acting, no prostitution! ;)

to be fair, I'm not sure what it really is about. but it is amusing.

Oh man... some of these are hilarious

Quote
Ugh! This world is so ****ing disgusting!
This guy just sent me a message asking me if he could buy me for $90. What the ****? Do I look like I’m on the classifieds like all those other sellouts? Sorry, but I’m not desperate enough to sell myself to some creep I never even met before.
I’m not going to just mount on any stem because someone thought they could buy me. Most people don’t even bother using plastic wrap around their stems.
Even worse, most of these ****ing creeps “collect” us caps like we’re they’re ****ing property and treat us like trophies to post photos of on the internet. Excuse me? You’re just going to take invasive photos of me and then put me in a box for the rest of my ****ing life?! Even grosser, caps get traded for other caps like some are more valuable than others. How the **** can you value one cap over another?
You know what we should do? We should just round up all of these “collectors” and ****ING KILL THEM!!!! Imagine how much better a world this would be without these ****ing creeps around.
