I may have a mental Disorder
« on: Tue, 16 February 2016, 15:02:34 »
-the- Tp4 dissociative disorder?

---just now

I needed to tilt my head right to look at something behind my monitor..

Instead of physically tilting my head.. -quite easy-

I put my right hand up on the side of my head and began tapping -on my head- where the backspace would be..

It felt so natural.. for the first 5 seconds I thought there was something wrong with the usb connection..

I'm not sure if this is good or bad..   well.. prolly nothing..

Why did you capitalize Disorder?

There is a Flow to typing..   sometimes it just -feels - like a Capital letter is necessary..

you feel it ?

I hope i don't get flamed for this..

But , you know how in Calligraphy, sometimes there is a free hand control of hArd motion and soft motion.. I believe Typing can be taken to this level...

Soon you'll reach the point where you can identify a tp thread from the title alone (if you haven't already), and then you'll just skip the OP and make a post in the thread pointing out how ridiculous the OP is without even having to read it.

tp4tissue, the user that started this thread, starts a lot of threads with his own distinct style and flair. Hence "tp thread".  :)

Someone (I'm blanking on the name and paraphrasing) said rather astutely that "it's almost as if tp means to google something but creates a GH thread instead."

Don't get me wrong, I like tp, but there's no denying the questionable validity of many of his threads.  :))

I figured that out in my first week here.

Tl;dr of topic on hand: tp is crazy and that's nothing new.

Admitting it to himself is the first step.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
