"Probe ready" from StarCraft 1, made a nice notification sound for a while.

I agree, it was the ultimate arena shooter. I think even UT2004 aren't as good (although UT2004's Onslaught mode could've been a whole separate game).

I really want to play doom 2016.. Loved the beta, but Tp4 can't fords it..

I like the rocket launcher or chaser more than the heavy machine gun. But it seems like the player picks up more HMG than anything else

hmg is dropped more than anything else.. You'd obviously pick the homing missile if it was always available.

the hmg only did faster damage, but the homing missile keeps you alive ontop of more damage.
