baldgye's post of the week - WEEK 2!
« on: Thu, 09 June 2016, 05:20:10 »
I wanted to make a thread, dedicated to the real art of GH. I've taken somewhat, of a back seat to the goings on on here, but I think it's time we all rejoice in true art present on GH.

Quote
Art
The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

Volume 6 brings us to last week and a new post.
I would like to stress at this point, focus not on the context, but the poetry;

Sure, the economy is a bit broken for a few years, but in the end the UK will have more control over immigration so that road signs in 5 years are not dual language for English and Arabic.

In my neck of the woods (Suburbia Chicago) the number of Muslim immigrants has noticeably gone up.  Some days I feel like a stranger in my own town.

I'm not against people seeking a better life - I'm just wondering what the tipping point is going to be when people start demanding Sharia law.

Last weeks winner.

On a completely separate note:

I'm also pretty frustrated with how people around GH feel like the have a right to be all condescending without understanding the issue. I feel like nobody actually reads my posts - previously, I feel like I coherently addressed everything Gutz complained about. Again here, tp4 ignored what I wrote and nitpicked on everyone else.

Before I started to public collect data to try to rectify the problems created, I was in conversation with plenty of other people putting a case together. There is ample evidence and explanations for the train of thoughts that have also been thoroughly explained time and time again in my various updates and posts across 3 threads (two now locked and in the grave yard).

Literally, the only reason that keeps me coming back to GH instead of sitting on reddit is because of this incident. I didn't reach out to DT, pm'ing people on GH, consolidate pm's from reddit, and handling communications on watsapp because I would get my money back - I was screwed the moment Gutz withdrew money from moneygram. I literally have nothing to gain. If I get my packages, great! That nets me 0, because that's what I paid for. If I get my packages, and other people get their packages, I'm likely net negative because I need to ship what I got to others. As I have explained before, I literally have nothing to gain. I am doing this because I have been bored.

So goes it:

Ultimatum, if folks want to ****post and make accusations or twist our intentions, I'll gladly delete everything and someone else can start from scratch. Then at least 38 other people along with roughly $6,000 in essentially fraud-ed goods/services will walk out the door. And yes, by definition, fraud is a scam. Intentional or not, commit fraud is a scam. Stop kidding ourselves.

There's enough stupidity and uninformed (sometimes unintentional) ignorance out there in the world. If you don't understand the situation, Please don't contribute to it.

Is there a tl;dr?

Berserk fan made large mistakes in shipping his sale items.

He said, damn, sorry guys..

Ok, budget will be $2000 for the redirect shipping swaps, and reimbursements

Not sure Everyone's packages can be fixed, because some people might not report in if they get more than they paid for..

--Rootwyrm-- urges everyone to file paypal disputes/ escalations IMMEDIATELY...

Despite having 6 months, 180days to file...

At the time that --Rootwyrm--  urged everyone to file,  MOST of the packages have not even arrived yet..  Nothing was even possible to swap, because there was no tally as to which boxes had what stuff went where...

At the very least, given the 180 days,  they should've waited for coordination efforts to continue until after everyone got their boxes.

--ROotwyrm-- and a few other guys, banded together to form a lynch mob surrounding the issue, cried bloody murder..

Eventually enough paypal disputes were filed such that Berserkfan could no longer use his paypal account to coordinate payments/ shipping/ reimbursements, because those functions were locked..

--Rootwyrm-- and those on that wagon continue to insinuate that this entire thing had been a scam..   While all the evidence point to the contrary..

Tp4 Speaks up about the issue, because Berserkfan had been in contact and was preparing shipping proxies in many countries, EVEN WHILE all the Internet - Insults were being thrown around..

But eventually, all the preparation amounted to nil,  because of --Rootwyrm's actions--

--Rootwyrm/Skysoric did not perpetrate the shipping mistakes..

However, they are directly responsible for making the situation as terrible as it has become..

On a separate note.

--Baldgye-- has a vendetta against Tp4,

This is surely his thread to draw out an old battle to which he lost..

Tp4 has already pointed out to Baldgye before that he's a man of little wit..

And this continues to be true..

I'm not sure if this is the rise he intends to get out of Tp4..

However, The issue surrounding GH's latest shipping debacle involves the Slander of another member Berserkfan, of who has demonstrated consistently to be an upstanding member..

Despite yea,  Berserkfan, language is not his thing.. he can't explain things clearly and his emotions are untamed.....   Despite those thing,  there are numerous references all over of successful trades and exchanges throughout the forum.

And before the Mods come in and unrightfully ban people..

Let's be clear on who's starting drama..

Baldgye clearly did this intending to continue the Berserkfan Slander Case issue..

I don't think the mods have unrightfully banned anyone, but I'd love to hear some feedback on that, as always.  ~98% of the bans are just spambots, so if you really want to see what they're posting I'm sure you can find something similar elsewhere.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think the biggest offense in this thread is the supposed "tl;dr" being longer than the original post.

Well, and this... badlgye, this thread serves no purpose other than to mock users that you disagree with.  Why not just read the post and move on?  Why perpetuate these drama situations into something they never needed to be?

If this were true, the entire situation would have almost certainly been met with quite a bit more patience.

But it's not true, and here we are.

I'm glad you asked Hoff,  because evil does not sleep..

As you can see, there are malignant cancerous users on Geekhack.. --Rootwyrm-- being the beginning,

I've already surgically incised that growth..

Now,  We have baldgye the second coming , The Cancer returns..

What is Surgeon Tp  suppose to do about this..

I can only operate once more..

No one is denying mistakes happened.. Nugglet..

Berserk is at fault for many things..

The fact that his COMMUNICATION was poor, and ruffled a few feathers,  this is also not in dispute..

HOWEVER,   the efforts to fix things ON PART of Berserkfan, was indeed in happening throughout the fallout..

So that record has to be set straight..

--Rootwyrm--'s problem, is that he continues to accuse Berserkfan of a scam.. This is incorrect..

I'm not doing this for me..

It does not matter what baldgye thinks/ says.

I've already dealt with him in the past..

What could Tp4 possibly gain from this matter continuing..

I am already the most popular / most prolific / most possibly Wonky member of geekhack OT..

My station, unimportant as it is,  is anything if not cemented and secure..

This specific issue involves Berserkfan.. who has been wrongly slandered..

And no one was able to come to his defense..

Tp4 must preserve the truth about upstanding Members such as Berserkfan

When any of you fall, and the Vultures come,  Tp4 will defend you too.

..  That is the Tp4 promise..

Someone you can trust

I've not attacked anyone..

It is those who wish to perpetuate the Untruth which I've continued to Champion against..

I correctly put forth the order of events as they've unfolded.

--Rootwyrm-- has decided to continue his own fabricated version of what transpired..

It is not inaccurate to call him a villain..

--Baldgye-- is a more minor character, but alas i suppose as a balm to his personal irrelevance, he's chosen to attach himself to the hot-topic..

ALL THE WHILE,   the person who's realistically LOST THE MOST, during this entire debacle remained wrongfully chastised..

For Berserkfan::

His entire inventory has been liquidated at no profit,  at a LOSS.

Then due to his own negligence, he's not at all able to collect even the liquidation payment.

Almost no one will return their items to him, because of the state of current events as perpetrated by --Rootwyrm--

AND, at the end,  he will still have to settle with paypal collections..

Negligence was Berserkfan's own fault..

But, the lack of community support, and early demise of the potential FIX, was the fault of --Rootwyrm--.
