Very basically, I go through a decision tree.

Without reading your current response..

You either   agree/ disagree

I weigh the likelyhood of the two,  and accordingly prepare a response.

Now, at this moment, I feel there is a 50% chance for either case..

So, in these cases,  I would offer a neutral explanation of my process..

So whether you agree or disagree, it would be relevant..

If you agree, you would've said something like, oh do tell, how does that work.

If you disagree, you would've said something like that's ridiculous, I h8 Tp..

In which case this neutral statement would be enough to cover both.
This actually explains a lot.  :p

I know that Fohat has a personal vendetta against Tp4. Over many altercations, Tp4 told him that he's pretty much wrong about everything with respect to the economy/ science/ religion.

And in explaining the Tp4 response process would itself be enough of a retort to whatever fohat may have said.

Not at all. But I do consider it profoundly rude, disrespectful, and/or disingenuous during the course of a "discussion" to spew out random statements without reading and understanding what the others have to say, or at the very least thoroughly skimming their comments and links, and responding with logical and meaningful analyses (backed up by neutral 3rd-party science or journalism, if at all possible) to the points that they (and/or you) are putting forward.

It is not just you, others behave much the same, Redmaus comes to mind.
Frankly, I find many of your posts to be partially or mostly incoherent and I walk away with the feeling that you are actually saying very little. But you are the owner of this thread, so you get to set the "rules of discourse" ....

I fully agree to you, you should have seen how this little sh!t sat DT on fire while he was banned on GH... Most toxic, disrespectfull and highly cancerous person I've ever witnessed on forums. I am sorry for the poor GH folks who have to deal with this individual.

But, I'll admit to ruffling a few feathers, when I landed that Giant Truth Thread over there.

Everywhere has their clic crowd who believe they're entitled to the forum -stance and opinion..

However the truth is,  you're actually just frogs at the bottom of a well content with your own little sky..

That Rootwyrm guy, sigh..............  I almost laughed when he mentioned he's got some friction with paypal now....

That was completely his own doing,  Had he just given Berserkfan more time to do some coordination and transfers,  it would've all been much better..

you should have seen how this little sh!t sat DT on fire while he was banned on GH

I did see it, of course, and I will actually jump over to the other side, temporarily.

My personal belief is that neither TP4 nor Gutz are bad or dishonest people, and had no explicit intent to harm.

While Berserkfan generated a disastrous avalanche of disappointment and caused many innocent people the loss of considerable hard-earned money, I feel certain that there is an untold story and a "perfect storm" of emotional and panic-laden circumstances that we will never know about. And I doubt that there is a surplus of money left in his pocket, either.

When TP4 attempted to defend Berserkfan, he was ridiculed and flamed, both here and there.

Personally, I am out a bit over $100 (and a box for me may yet arrive, I don't know) but I feel disappointment, not anger.

While Berserkfan ... caused many innocent people the loss of considerable hard-earned money....

In other words, he defrauded people, that is, to illegally obtain money from people by deception. Don't sugar coat this.

He deceived you before you spent money, and now he's deceiving you after.

...a box for me may yet arrive, I don't know

come on, you know....

As for feeling disappointment, that's good, you're playing right into the fraudsters hands, considered yourself successfully emotionally micromanaged!

The depth and breadth of your understanding of the situation and the players is reassuring.

I think my understanding of the situation is quite good, I'm not down any money here or hoping that the sun will come out tomorrow. Or, tomorrow's tomorrow. Or, tomorrow's' tomorrow's tomorrow...

Quincy, you're ignorant, hahaha..

I guess that doesn't matter so much on the internet,  but it seems to be your personality trait to defend that ignorance as well..

Sigh.......

I have sold/bought from Berserk multiple times over the past couple years, last time being a trackball from one of his clearance sales and had no issues whatsoever. I agree, I highly doubt he meant for what happened to happen.

I think the situation just got out of hand, multiplied by life made it too much to handle. I also highly doubt berserk left with profit from what happened.

Spoken like a true single person!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
