Deadly Sugar, Paging (Chyros)
« on: Fri, 09 September 2016, 23:46:09 »
If 30g/kg of sugar is the LD50 for Mice..

Does that translate to humans ?

So if an 80kg (176lb) human ate  2.4kg of sugar, he'd have a 50% survival odd...     is that how LD50 works ?

Extended:

If Rice is 85.8% starch, then assuming you can fit that much rice,  1.1655*30*80,  2.7kg of rice

Would that glucose amount be equivalently deadly?

There are generally different LD50s for ingestion, inhalation, and intravenous. Technically everything is poisonous if you ingest enough of it, even water (and I don't mean drowning). For actual foods like rice you really don't have to worry about an LD50, but if you're eating several kilos of rice at the time your stomach probably will explode, yes.

hrrrm...  Is it the physical containment that's the issue, or simply too much sugar.

Information is available on this issue.

Michael Wolff says he urged Epstein to release information he had on Trump, but Epstein appeared worried about what Trump would do to him.
Epstein told him, “I may be a pervert, but I’m not crazy.” Epstein continued, "Trump is a man without any scruples.”

Hrrrm,, Looking into this further

World record by Kobayashi seems to be around ~21lbs of rice balls..

We don't know how hydrated his competition rice ball rice is,  But using the TP4 Ideal Rice hydration formula, 2.7kg of rice would only come to 5.657kg of cooked rice, which is only 12.47lbs..

Would that indicate a human will likely survival 30g/kg level of sugar which is LD50 on mice test ?

I'm vaping sugar as I type this. I'll give you the details as I experience each symptom.
