It's always in the last place you look....
« on: Thu, 13 October 2016, 01:38:01 »
Just spent about 3 hours ripping the house to pieces, looking for my work travel credit card (always comes out of my wallet and is left at home before I go out drinking) turns out it was in my drawer next to the computer.

(insert onion man huffing comedically with shrugging arms)

Der, of course it's always in the last place you look.

I mean, who keeps looking after they've found it?!?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

"Well I'm sure it's somewhere."

Also a very helpful statement.

It's like whenever I'm working on my car looking for a tool I JUST PUT DOWN, spend twenty minutes looking for it and then find it in my pocket.
