I know this behavior from Razer boards with crappy Kailh switches. Never had such a problem with MX switches. The MX Blues on my Poker 2 all click exactly the same.
I feel your pain, RMA seems to be the only solution.

hahahhahaha..

Yea basically,  once in a while,  you get switches which make a slightly more dull sound..

This is quite normal, because if the sliders are slightly wider out of the mold or that particular leaf spring is 2-3 degrees offset,  it could cause these differences.

if you must be stick up butt about it..  you'd have to either rma, or swap out the switch yourself..

Keep in mind,  this is not something that will affect the FUNCTION of the keyboard..

It's like a small scratch on the tire when you buy a new car..   /hands up // mehh

break in  can change the sound sometimes, yes,   buhhhhh.. not always,   for example if the leaf spring is  tilted outwards, it's never going to tilt back inward..

However, if it tilting inward is the problem, then yea, there's a chance that Breaking-In would push it out more.

If it's the Slider that's too thick,  there's a chance, but we're well into 10,000+ keystrokes for any chance in slider diameter

I agree with others that this is just the nature of the beast.  They aren't going to be perfect and you will experience inconsistency.  If it bothers you that much, you could fudge the truth on a RMA and say some of the keys don't make a click.  But, you certainly wont get better with Gateron.  Gateron feel smooth with the POM sliders, but from my experience they have much more of this inconsistency than Cherry switches.

I had this problem with my CM Storm QuickFire Rapid with MX blue. I exchanged for 3 times but every time there is one or two switch that does not click well. Eventually I gave up and fixed it myself (desoldered the problem switch and soldered a new one).
TMK Alps64 w/ Matias Quiet Switches in KBP V60 case.
Infinity60 with SKCM Orange Switches w/ TMK.
CM Storm QRF w/ Frosty Flake controller, Cherry MX Blue Switches and TMK firmware.

Coming:
Ellipse Model F F62.
