Lightkey - Text Auto Completion & Prediction on Our PC :)
« on: Mon, 07 November 2016, 07:32:35 »
Dear Geekhack Forum,
I've created Lightkey, a new free app that offers text auto completion and word prediction in Office (word, powerpoint and outlook). Lightkey learns your typing patterns and offers native word predictions on targeted subjects (like chemistry, physics, technology, cybersecurity, ...) supporting 70+ languages.

Here are some common questions that you may ask:
- Q: Lightkey is free, therefore it probably sends all my typing content to some cloud. A: NO. Lightkey has a strict privacy policy and your typing content isn't submitted anywhere. you can read more about it here - www.lightkey.io/single-post/2016/09/19/Lightkey-Privacy-Instinctive-Worries-and-Their-Truths
- Q: I'm a fast typist, why bother? A: This is subjective. Personally, I believe that I'm a fast typist too, but Lightkey makes me even faster :)
- Q: I don't like mobile phone prediction apps... why should I like Lightkey? A: Lightkey is different from mobile phone prediction (and from almost any word prediction software out there). read more here http://www.lightkey.io/single-post/2016/11/07/Lightkey-VS-Mobile-Phones-Text-Prediction

I would love to get some feedback from you and wish that you'll enjoy it and have more free time!
Try Lightkey for free in http://www.lightkey.io

PS - I was sure the PS2 was the answer :)

Sup dude..

Very cool --  app..

Tp4, am a long time computer person,  and this journey has taken me to 135wpm many years ago.. 've been at that pace ever since..

In personal xperience, Tp4 has not been able to generate --useful-- text at greater than an average rate of 30wpm.. (essays, txt messaging, work reports)

30wpm is quite an elementary speed to reach,  would not take kids more than a week or two..

So given that context,   would lightkey really have a meaningful impact on the computer input world ?
