I don't know what to do...

I have a financial hold on my account at school, so I can't register for classes. The school called today telling me they put me in two of the four classes I put into my enrollment shopping cart.

Two of four are closed. One particular, mac1106, there's only one class available on campus and of course it's closed.

Get the financial hold fixed.

Find an advisor who can help you work out an alternative class selection.

The key here is talking to someone whether its in the financial department or whatever to get the financial stuff figured out.

Worst comes to worst perhaps take a semester off, get a job, make a little money get some kind of experience and try again next semester.

What you have to do is visit the school in person. Head over to the student financials section and talk to anyone and everyone. Don't leave until your hold is lifted.

After the hold has been lifted try emailing the professor(s) and see what they can do about letting you into class. Even if you can't enroll, go to class anyways. Maybe you'll get lucky and someone will drop the class. Ask the registrar if you can take someone's spot or be put on standby for when someone invariably drops it.

And before next semester (summer or fall) make sure that there aren't any holds on your account several weeks before registration opens up. Don't let it catch you by surprise again.

Yea. people add //drop all the time..

it's like camping out on black friday.. just watch the registration screen here and there..


As for the financial hold.. well, you gotta pay um i think.. I'm not sure how it works with ur school, did you miss a payment ?

So I'm making progress I think. I now have to get an irs transcript to go through a verification with FAFSA.

As for the class, I'm going to keep an eye on it, and in the worst case scenario, I'm going to take a different math than what I'm trying to take now.

With the different math I'll have an extra class being that the one that is full is merged with trig and college algebra, or something of that nature.
