I keep seeing these pop up on Massdrop recently and am very tempted. I bought some cheap wired SNES clone controllers for my RetroPi and regret even bothering with them...they're just awful. 8bitdo seems to be THE brand of choice for retro controllers at the moment...especially if you're looking for Bluetooth.
I liek keyboards

Aren't they smaller than original Famicom/NES controllers?

they got a bunch of different models.. the fc30 and snes30 are same size as the famicom/snes controller

the nes30 is the same size as nes

then there's the nes pro and fc pro,  these have the analogue sticks, but don't match any size. they're their own shape.

I bought the FC30:
  • an analog stick broke after 20 minutes of use
  • the bluetooth was flaky
  • the thing was a ***** to program in retroarch

Not sure if I got a unusually defective device, but returned it and switched back to using a trusty xbox controller instead.

I've been tempted to get the snes reciever and one of the SNES30s but it's too expensive for me to warrant getting one  :(

you can take a look at this video to hear a little bit more about them, though:

I still need to fix my borked SNES controller.
