Bad Valentine's Day gifts
« on: Tue, 14 February 2017, 13:05:06 »
Hey y'all. I'm leaving in two hours to surprise my girlfriend at college and I want to give her a fake gift before the real one.

What should I put in a bag/box?

A keyboard, of course.
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Spray paint a rubberdome board pink.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Get her an electric razor and some hair wax, guaranteed to start an argument.

amusingly a friend of mine... some what idiotically took my suggestion to write his ex's name on a card then cross it off...  She wasn't amused and then she blamed me for it...

to which I could only respond... look I didn't know he'd be dumb enough to actually do it...

not all ...but I don't think girls tend to have that great of a sense of humor in general...so tread lightly...

I know it's a bit late, but how about a fire extinguisher.  You could say you don't feel comfortable withe the idea of her cooking without one...
