how to fix Incosistency in switches such as Zorro
« on: Wed, 15 February 2017, 10:20:23 »
Hello everyone
by incosistency I mean, some keys are lighter or heavier than others, mainly only in those cheap mechanical keyboards. The reasons why I'd like to know how to fix it is that I'd like to buy the TKL one mainly for gaming and mess up with it. Say I change the springs with SPRiT springs https://www.mechanicalkeyboards.co.id/products/detail/100pcs-sprit-cherry-mx-24k-gold-plated-springs would it fix it?

thank you

that's normal..

they'll all balance out given time, as all of them will get lighter.

Also,  keep in mind..  having consistent weight between all switches is neither a priority , nor does it affect function.

This is because all your fingers are different strength and different length..

So there's no aspect of predictability of key weight which would influence how hard you press.  it just has to be in the ballpark +/- 15g of force.
