I have had a Polk PSW10 for many years it is ~$104 right now on amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-10-Inch-Powered-Subwoofer/dp/B0002KVQBA/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1493845024&sr=1-1&keywords=passive+subwoofer

it isn't "amazing" but it is pretty good for $100... I have been pleased with mine.. I have had mine since 2008~ I think

Dayton Audio SUB-1200 or SUB-1000.  https://www.parts-express.com/brand/dayton-audio/301. Best entry level in my opinion, comparable to speakers over double the price.

How much you wanna spend TP? I got studio monitors... Yamaha HS-5... they don't go that low. They have a very defined crisp clear sound. But they expensive.

if you live in a condo or an apartment tread carefully when adding a sub..  they are a quick way to tick the neighbors off.

honestly living in a condo.. the only thing I've used my PSW10 for in awhile was to demonstrate to my old neighbor I had a subwoofer also..

and also this...
167603-0

for some reason after being exposed to a night of 200watt Sony TA-N77ES + JBL L1's and sub the pricks decided to be more considerate ~ish until they moved (thank god) shortly after.

subs don't need to be turned up very high to provide a benefit.  I have condo neighbors and no one complains because I just use it to fill out the bottom end a bit and compliment my bookshelf speakers. no bassssssssssss blasting
keyboards.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I've been reading

that you need BIG cones for the low hz --feel--

But, then the larger the cone, typically the greater the THD,  so it's not really all that musical.

Who cares about musical with bass?

I have 2-3 mid-high grade conventional 1970s-1980s consumer stereo rigs that sound great to me because that is what I grew up listening to.

Stored away I have a great dual-coil high-efficiency 15" subwoofer ("Sledgehammer" knock-off, as I recall) that I recently removed from the original case that I built for it in the mid-late-1980s. Building a new cabinet for it (perhaps with internal amplifier) is on my long to-do list.
From the US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8 :

The   Congress   shall have Power
To declare War,  grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;
To provide for calling forth the Militia  to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
