tp4, if dieting and have lots of weight to loose how many grams of dry rice to eat per meal?
I am eating 1800 Calories worth of rice daily, +fruits , up to 2200 total, and I am still losing weight..
This is about 500-600 more calories than I was eating while I ate Ramen + Costco Chicken..
The 10% calories from fat is a pivotal element..
That nonsense about low carbs is thoroughly wrong.
However, keep in mind that during the Transition, you can't rush so many white carbs.
If you've eaten meats and a lot of oils all your life, Then your body (As of Current) is highly insulin resistant.
If you rush 1800 Calories of Rice, your blood sugar will xplode..
I recommend an Immediate reduction to 10% calories FROM FAT.. But a more Gradual implementation of Carbohydrates.
This has to be done in tandum..
After approximately 1.5 to 3 months of 10% calories from fat, you can begin Unlimited Rice. Eat as much as you can handle.
Now, there's no restriction on meats, however, that 10% calories from fat,
If we break that down into the natural fat composition in meats, that's about (In size) to 4x chicken nuggets.. (no frying, no breading)..
So, you might as well go vegan.. hahahahahaha
If you ate those 4x chicken nugget sized meats, then that is your entire day's oil budget.
As for HOW MUCH RICE to lose weight.. That is an unnecessary calculation.. Rice , much like apples, is very self limiting.
So, right now, Something like 65% calories from rice, 25% calories from fruits, 10% from fat
That is about 356 grams of raw rice a day on the 2000 calories diet.
You can substitute any composition of the Rice with whole wheat pasta if you feel overwhelmed by the sugar rush post meal
