Prices new are INSANE. Im not spending as much on a battery than on the actual TOOL!

Used often a steal (well, comparatively).

But a rechargeable is only good for so many charging cycles, and capacity diminishes after a while. HILTI is often used by professionals, meaning they will have likely gotten lots of use... Most look accordingly..

You think that if the Pack looks good and mostly unused, its OK to buy? Or better to stay away from used Li-Ion?

Capacity will likely not be like new, but price is like 1/3 of new also..

Worth it?

Litpo degrades with both age and wear.. don't buy it today to use it tomorrow..  over 2 years, you could lose 10-15% of peak capacity just having it sit there.

Chk if they have a tamper circuit,  if not,  you may be able to redo your own cells.
