The action's not bad.. but the script//plot, What a Mess .. !!

Don't understand how they could've let this be made..

The whole asperger subplot, touting it as the next stage in human evolution .. /headscratch..

This was just poorly handled..

The humans were too unbelievably incompetent..

The aliens were more realistic than the humans..

A sequel, actually. Another of those "put a 'The' in front of the original's name for the sequel" films that are always so terrible.

The effects were great in both, but acting was mmmm... idk... i wouldn't call it BAD, but it was very crude..

That was the one thing I didn’t like as well. He also ruined American ultra for me. Loved him in 70s show though.

Just watched Predator and Venom and they definitely share a couple themes. Aliens, a weaker thing fighting a stronger version of itself, splicing DNA, eating heads.

See, I really like that film. It has to be one of the most unrelenting action films I've ever seen.

Besides, we get to see more cool things about the Predator, which are now all canon, I should add. Remember that disc (the one that was so poorly implemented later)? That was Pred 2. Same goes for the different vision modes, the spear, the netgun, etc.

And also, despite being a huge Arnie fan (I love basically all his films) I like that the series didn't devolve into JUST Arnie v Predator, but that it was a more general menace than that.

They did the best with what they had during their era..

The overall drag I felt, had been their attempt to develop the characters at all, which added uneven syncopation to the movie progress.

Predator 2 allowed Bill Paxton to achieve the sci fi action trifecta of death by Terminator,Xenomorph,and Predator,so it will always be a classic.

Honestly I think Predators may be slightly better than Predator II as well. If they would just take an arc from the Dark Horse comics and turn it into a film panel for panel they could Make Predator Great Again.
Concrete Jungle - Race War(this would be a hard R) - oh and Big Game, that was a good one too

Always thought the first Batman VS Predator would be an awesome movie or animation, OR if ya wanna get really out there, just go for the amazing Judge Dredd vs Alien vs Predator story arc and just get nuts with it!

No.. as soon as they make something like that, people like NoisyTurtle be up'n'arms goin' like oh, what a money grab, terrible plot, no creativity..

Dude just get someone like Christopher Nolan or George Miller to direct, and simply follow the beats of the comic as closely as possible. Get Karl Urban back as Dredd, which people already want to see.

I would MUCH rather see one-offs and weird **** vs yet another reboot, sequel, or prequel.

Prefer to have Iron Man 4.. and then just keep iterating for the rest of eternity, until Tony Stark assimilates with the Borg..

I couldn't wait to see it, especially as I was a great fan of both AvP games as well. But man, the disappointment was almost overwhelming.

I remember seeing AVP2 and feeling like I got did dirty when the opening scene was shot for shot from the comic book which hyped me up, then the entire rest of the movie was a smoking pile of garbage. I felt so betrayed.

I just watched Predators again. It did not suck. It was not offensive. And it was nothing to write home about.
I had not remembered much of it from the last time I had seen it, because there was not that much to remember.
