Burning Videos to Blu-Ray Discs

So, I've downloaded several blu-ray burners and am apparently too stupid to figure out how to burn videos to disc.  I just want to put some videos on a disc and have them play in a blu-ray player, but they all ask me for BDMV or VIDEO_TS folders or something.  Is there software out there where I can just drop the files in a box and it makes me a video blu-ray?

That isn't what you want to do.

Most smart tvs will play "many file formats" directly from a usb drive.

If that doesn't work.  You'd still want some sort of HTPC attached to the TV for best quality playback, or a laptop.


MPCHC + Madvr (software combo) is the highest quality Playback (signal wise) on the market. *(It's Free)


In terms of COST,  it's cheaper to buy Harddrives than it is to burn discs.

Not against' displays,   but, the cost in this case is ~ 10:1.



The bluray burning programs require bluray structure, and the file must be in the right format. If they're re-encoded, you'd have to transcode them back into the original format and container.
