“The reason they call it the American Dream is because you have to be asleep to believe it.” - George Carlin

"Politicians have been proving Carlin right for decades. The GOP and the second Trump Administration seem bent on doing what they’ve always done, sometimes even turning the American Dream into the American Nightmare. Taxes are a major contributor, especially the billions upon billions that the rich and corporations don’t pay. Trump and his fellow Republicans are committed to keeping it that way — and, if their slim Congressional majorities can stick together, to do even more for those who need it the least. As one small example, the overall corporate tax rate could drop to 20%; domestic manufacturers could do even better, ending up with an effective corporate rate of 15%. The federal tax code is famous (and infamous) for its huge handouts to those with the highest incomes, the most egregious being the cap on Social Security taxes."

Performed and recorded in some ancient sewer piping system?

just wait for the sickest ****ing breakdown of any SNES game. you'll know it when you get there  :blank:

What the ****?? Judging by the thumbnail, and not having played the game, I'd say they dumped most of the budget into whomever they hired to composed the progrock score.

When we were kids in the 1960s, my little brother (barely old enough to go to school) was obsessed with "Love is Blue"

Hell yeah! Those old jungle loops really give it that vibe. This one kept building and building until I looked the artist up on Bandcamp. :p

This gives me the feeling of listening to Zappa for the first time. Fantastic.

Amazing! I wanna hear the unabridged version.

Woke up with this song in my head, could not remember the name, the band, or any of the lyrics. Spent about 30 mins trying to figure out what it was. Sometimes it feels like my brain is getting stupider every year.

Trying to venture outside my comfort zone and listen to more genres of music. Starting with 2000s era rock bands from when I was a kid. Started with Breaking Benjamin and found I rather enjoyed Ember as a whole album.
