Rubber Dome or Scissor (tenkeyless) gaming keyboard

Looking to buy a rubber dome or scissor (tenkeyless) gaming keyboard.
All the ones I've seen on Amazon and NewEgg are full size.
Any ideas?

You can get a QFR for as low as $45. It normally goes on sale for $50-65. I'm not sure what your budget is but the Lycosa already goes for like $65-90.

If you want the board to be quieter, maybe tried Reds/Blacks with landing pads/o-rings?

Like I said, I've never seen a TKL rubberdome.

I have to agree with CPT.  QFR's are pretty cheap, they just won't be as quiet as a RD.  I don't really think your travel distance should matter that much, it's already a very small distance so the difference should be minimal.

I'm not in to this kind of keyboard.
However since I used to have one of this , I would like to recommend it to you (if you really prefer scissor switch)  :

A mechanical meeting these requirements is the cherry G84-4***. I have a G84-4101SPAUS that I got on ebay for probably about $10. It has PBT keycaps (though it's more common to find them with lasered or pad print) and small. Cherry G84 (ML) switches are very quiet.

I used a cheap logitch rubberdome for gaming before I dug up a model M from our attic. You can have it if you like, but I can't imagine why you'd want it for anything. It's not great and only 2KRO.

By the way, the older slectric typewriters have (amazingly enough) 3KRO, whereas the newer wheelwriters have the 2KRO of all model M's

Topre keyboards are rubber dome and quite well regarded here. I have an alphametric rubberdome with capacitive NKRO that is also very nice, but that's partially due to the excellent magnesium case. Rubber dome does not equate bad quality, and they certainly belong here. Topre have certainly found their place.

Thanks, got this one too...
The keys are a bit smaller than normal and I keep pressing the "`~" key which brings the console in BF3.
I should disable that key at least for playing BF3.

So... yea what everyone says.. Ergodox is the best keyboard for your requirements.

You can mod it down to 2.5mm travel if you want to with uber thick orings.

and if you do that, it will more or less feel like rubber dome given all the cushioning.

Also got the mini G84-4100 (the keys are smaller than normal).
I keep hitting the "`~" key bringing up the console in BF3 (stopping all possible playing).
I should disable this key at least for BF3.
Also, while typing fast I keep mistyping (pretty sure it's the smaller keys and some uncommon placement of keys like DEL and smaller Backspace keys for example).

I have Razer Arctosa. It's nice for non-mechanical keyboard.
However it is not TKL.
It would be really hard to find TKL in-expansive gaming keyboard.

The only one I like (and still own) is the TypeMatrix 2030 (new model).
However, the shift key placement for gaming is out of the way (I know I can remap the keys for BF3).
I'll try remapping the keys, but still a little more force required and a little more noise compared to RD.

Scissor switch any day over RD.

Yes, I guess The Nostromo or G13 would work...
Have the Wolf King Warrior and I could never get used to it (large slightly misplaced and missing keys (of course)).
I guess that's the best of both worlds...

Thanks guys, OK, the closest thing I found is the ROCCAT ARVO, it's not tenkeyless but at least has the arrow keys embedded in the number keypad, 1000Hz polling, programmable software, three programmable buttons, 5 different setups, etc.
Retails for $50+. Found a new? (looks used) on EBay for $27 (including shipping).
I'll add it to my collection...

It was apparently for a Samsung all-in-one PC. I don't think the keyboard is sold separately.

At least the Apple alunimium keyboard was one of the better ones I have used, allowing for the scissor switches, and given that this was before I got my first modern mechanical keyboard.
