Anyone ever have to deal with ghosts? I have a predicament.

So my girlfriend, daughter, and I just moved out of state back to her parents house a few days ago, and whenever my 11 month old daughter is sleeping in either our room in the guest house, or in one of the bedrooms at the main house, the lights will randomly turn on. The light switches on the walls need to be pressed, instead of switched on like normal lights. This only happens shortly after we put her down, either for a nap, or to bed for the night.

The house was rebuilt from the ground up. My father in law is a contractor, so electrical wiring isn't anything new to him, but it wasn't until we moved here that things started happening. We have never had any prior experiences like this, and it isn't scary per se, but I just want to figure out what exactly is going on.

An uncle of mine has had ghosts in his houses when I was growing up, so they don't bother me, but it's just weird how I or my in-laws haven't had any experiences like this until we moved here 3 days ago.
Does anyone have any thoughts or inputs on this? Cheers!

Edit 2: This happened 3 times within 15 or so minutes tonight and apparently my mother in law has had to turn off the guest bedroom light twice in the last 45 minutes. She is in the main house, we are in the guest house.

I might have been reading too much King but do you think it’s telekinesis instead? Your daughter might have a strong will. I mean if you think there’s ghost and all as a possibility, I’d think telekinesis is a more likely possibility.

It's possible, but who knows at this point haha. I think it's too early to tell, but I'll keep that idea in mind!

Does the light system have a sensor/timer feature. You may need to look up some documentation and check.

Yeah, I also think it is probable that your "smart" wall switch could be dumb. Either that, or a physical switch inside it is faulty.
I also have an annoyance: some guy who calls himself "Snooze" keeps calling me on my cell phone every five minutes ...
