I mean it's iced-tea, but much like the first "t" and "c" in Antarctica, who can really be bothered?

You've managed to make either version of the word not sound real.

I always considered ice tea to be the stuff you buy in bottles which has a load of sugar in it, and iced to be be actual tea with ice in it.

Ice tea - tea made from ice
Iced tea - tea chilled with ice

Therefore, it's iced tea.

We have the same question in the remodeling business with screened porches.

A porch is not made of screen - build a porch and then you may or may not choose to screen it in.
Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”

Agreed.

I have very strong opinions about my iced tea though.

the word runs together when you say it, "icetee" so it could be heard as either Iced or Ice depending on how quickly you speak, like saying cheesesteak

If I'm being honest, cheesesteaks and iced tea are two of my favorite things in the world

Tp4 prefers Hard-Iced-Tea..   Has to be very cold,  otherwise the alcohol tastes bitter..

Iced tea, but I'm pretty sure I'll sometimes just say "ice tea" under the convention of being a lazy ****.

The "d' sound right next to the "t" sound creates a pause that makes it a little less fluid or natural to say without interrupting the flow of speech or sounding awkward though.

In Europe the whole concept of Iced Tea is fairly unknown and can be a bit of a (nasty) surprise when visiting the States.
Ice tea is the sweetened, and often carbonated, version from companies like Lipton or Nestea.

Look, when you're in the USA it's like trying to convince people football is a game where the ball stays on the ground.  ^-^
