They all use the same internal parts. It's like paying $30 for a USB you can get for less than $5. Even if it breaks you can buy 5x more for the same price.

More clearly Tp4 wants to skimp , but not SO much so, that it blows up the fone.

I suspect that this is generally true.

Remember that the voltage is what matters. If you get one with a higher amperage rating, the device will only draw what it needs/wants and/or can use at the moment.

semi-off-topic - apparently they draw a very small current continuously whenever plugged into the wall, even if no appliance is actively draining them

"if you can feel warmth then they are actively feeding"
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Wall warts, or USB chargers?

Wall warts are almost invariably Chinese branded, and most seem totally fine.

USB chargers... I guess Anker, or again, anything 'branded'. I'd only really be concerned with quality once it got into USB-C/PD/40-100W territory.

I too recommend Anker, I use their Qi pads and charging bricks.
