It's important to understand that the unread populace largely misunderstands "Authoritarianism."
Authoritarianism is NOT a product of exclusively right or left wing politics.
Authoritarianism is a consequence of reduced ease-of-distribution of natural resources.
When the-Times get a little harder, Authoritarianism naturally peaks, as the populace panics and coalesce power to fight over "What's left."
There is just as many instances of Left-wing authoritarianism as Right-wing authoritarianism.
America is incidentally the BEST example. Both the left and right wing, of America, each believing they are themselves morally superior, has Over the last 100 years conducted HUNDREDS of -Regime,Change,Operations- in foreign nations.
If any foreign body of politics is difficult or unfriendly to America, we systematically sponsor through both/weapons/finance/ their opposition and VIOLENTLY kill them.
This has occurred unbroken across the aisle, under every single president.
As a citizen, you are not represented by your government. You are cattle to that government.
They tell you, you need to pick a side, Yet they are in truth, republican/democrat, THE SAME SIDE. The Illusion of choice is their locus of control.
If they get you entranced in the idle bicker-y of a Culture-War, You lose sight of the real war each of the citizen's ancestor lost, the WAR ON CLASS.
If you are a Citizen, you are born sheep, and if you continue to fail to understand CLASS, sheep you will remain.
