They've cheaped out on the tooth paste tube.

It used to have the shape-holding aluminum liner, now it's just white plastic tube.

They have been like that over here for decades.
I'm guessing that it is just because they are easier to recycle.

TP4 why were you cutting up your toothpaste tubes?
How did you know there was an aluminum liner?
How did you know without cutting it open that something was different? or do you just cut open all your toothpaste tubes?

No, but cuz Tp4's p00rt1tude is truly @ 150%, he must recover all the paste that's still in the tube after he gets to the end. There's usually a good 10 days worth of brushing left in the tube, if you routinely use ~pea-sized amount each session.

That comment is relative to reference costs, not Tp4's expense capacity.
