amd zen 6, 12 cores, idk.... they can barely use 8.

What's really needed right now is software that can do 500fps+

People who got these little computers.

Like, just a minuscule component of their life.

It's such a different world.

Went to person's place today,  they have just a 1.5feet by 3 feet table, with a 22 inch monitor 16:9, and an 8 year old office dell, single channel ram, no gpu,  a million icons on the screen.   So THEY USE IT, Yea,  but to Tp4, it's rather insane.

They even watch netflix on it.

It's almost like, people don't know faster computers exist.

Like,  they're sitting there waiting for something to happen, and it's like, oh, it's supposed to be like this.

little computers.

That's the way I feel about laptops. I visited my daughter last week and felt like I was using a toy.
That same morning, the Financial Times revealed that for the past three years Russia has been helping Iran build a supersonic cruise missile capable of blowing our ships out of the water, and at an Iran/Russia/China summit with Iran’s president, Putin, and Xi in Bishek this week, Putin said he’ll continue to supply Iran with “the necessary goods” that can be used to kill Americans.

Wifi 8,

Guys, wifi 7 doesn't even work, because people still using wifi 4 and 5.

None of that anti-collision stuff works unless EVERYONE has anti-collision.

So, unless you buy wifi 7+ for yourself and your whole building,  it won't do a damn thing except high throughput in the same room as the router.

For single homes,  yea,  it's faster,  buhhhh I have trouble seeing how any device would need that much wireless bandwidth.  The latency isn't any better.

I bought a trackball, tried one 10-20 years ago and couldn't make it feel right.

This time, 48 hours in, it is feeling easy and good. I may settle in on it this time.

Armored core 6, huge difference in physics between 60fps and 120fps.

At 120fps 2 collisions are not likely to overlap. At 60fps, you can get stuck into another or under a big mech enemy on fast melee charges.

Noticed this trying to record some footage.

Games aren't made for dlss5 yet.

Overtime, it may become the default if training can stabilize artistic intent.

It's currently still too erratic.
