Unfortunately, it is not true, the richer a person gets, the less his propensity for agreee-ment.
There ARE in fact very powerful oligarchs, but no, they don't like each other, and they certainly do not agree on how to run the world.
The other thing to note is, THEY DON'T RUN ANYTHING. They have brain farts, and their yes-men make it happen, usually poorly.
The majority of their thought is consumed by what Tp4 can only describe as Sober Drunkenness. They only spend 0.00% of their day thinking about how the "World is" and where it's going. Their mind is squarely on the sea-roaches they're going to eat, the ****s they will sleep with, and the drugs they will never admit to themselves they're addicted to.
So, WHAT then is responsible for all the calamity.
SYSTEMS. The SYSTEM overall is responsible. The coalescing incompetence, ineptitude, myopathy, of 8 Billion people is responsible.
You don't right wrong by anything other than introspection. What you know is too little, and the reason for that is you are time poor, that time was stolen from you by your immediate superior, and his time stolen by ....
The problem isn't resource consumption. The problem is purpose. What is it that you think you're doing?
We've created this fancy cage for ourselves, happiness in a box, when all scientific experiments show, the only outcome by way of artificial homeostatic complacency is Self-Termination.
Calholn's mice, babies born, left unsuckled to die in the Utopia box. Mice which give up breeding all together, Brigand mice which form rape gangs that assault both genders, Lesbian tribal mice taking up high fortifications to prevent all male mice from their sanctum.

The Utopia BOX, fundamentally disconnect living beings FROM the Mother. We see ourselves as independent from the system of Birth. The life womb from which all come.
Modern renascence thinking revolving entirely around the hubristic ego has led each human to optimize momentary emotional states which no longer relate to their intended outcome.

People scream at each other about abortion, without asking, hey, why did we need abortions in the first place.
Oh, because the mother for ^)*&# reason, may not have the financial resources to raise the child.
WHAT mother in nature does not have the resources for their child, what mother in nature has math to calculate such a thing.
It is only because we've deliberately Built a BAD SYSTEM. A system which says we are born unwanted, HOMELESS and DO NOT BELONG, and whatever LOVE we'd hope to experience MUST BE PURCHASED.
So you see, ALL Systems of law, dictations of the concept of ownership, of rights are BUILT around very narrow and incomplete ideas of what it is that we are, where we come from, and How we are mean't to Exist.
