So, Tp4 has been waiting for this chip for a long time,  benches around 9500 on passmark, which means it's ALMOST as fast as an nvidia 1060  @ 3.5lbs.

The issue Tp4 had with the previous 140v  from the 258v processor, is it's just not fast enough for HDR tonemapping.

IDEALLLLLY, Tp4 would like a 1660ti lvl power in an integrated setup, buhhhhh that doesn't fit the wattage as of yet.

Probably next generation.

Prices for storage have gone completely insane over the past year.
I put together a legit but rather modest build last December - appalled by the prices THEN - but they have easily doubled again since then.

So,  clearly NOT as powerful as the ol' 1660ti mobile, which can lock 360fps with 8% headroom, but it also doesn't use 80watts.

The System is fighting itself.

Tp4 believes the way the power balancer works is too smart for its own good, leading to more load imbalance.

Wish they'd have a MANUAL balancer,  Just let the user determine how many Jigers the GPU vs CPU should have.

And a Manual core conductor would be interesting as well.


The screen is prettty gud',  Buh, hrrm.. IDK, it has raised black floor,  I can understand why they chose that for a laptop, but it's not as nice for movies, because it kills off quite alot of shadow detail.

Specifically this is the RGB values representing between 0 and 0.5 nits,  You'd be surprised how important that is.

They're using a samsung panel, so it's not a capability issue, samsung dithering is state of the art, so this is a deliberate choice, one that Tp4 is not enamored with.

The 120hz is gud, gamz look great.

This laptop has a pretty high power allowance for its size, 70watts,  but it heavily gates it, even while plugged in, which Tp4 mentioned in opening statements.

This is ridiculous

Tp4 reformated the drive from scratch, after jumpping through all these weird bios hoops which lock out.

Video Renderer went from 42ms to 32ms.  THat's insane, WTH was it running in the background.
