anyone have any good instrumental/no vocals high energy workout music?
I have a lot of consternation pinpointing a good album at the gym, and I can't keep listening to the same 3 over and over.

Dance with the Dead is high energy electronic power metal with no vocals. Driven to Madness is a great album by them.
If you are ok with little to no vocals, DJ Blyatman is a riot. Album Gopnik is amazing. Babushka is a stand out track.
If doom metal is up your alley I enjoy Pelican. Australasia and The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw is good.

Woke up with this song in my head, could not remember the name, the band, or any of the lyrics. Spent about 30 mins trying to figure out what it was. Sometimes it feels like my brain is getting stupider every year.
This is good! It reminds me a lot of Steve Hillage's 1980's stuff.

Just came from a lovely concert by the Akropolis Reed Quintet.

"However, my view has changed in recent days. Trump’s behavior is so bizarre, so unhinged, and so counter to his short-term interests that the most likely explanation for his actions is that Trump either believes or knows that he is mentioned in the Epstein files in ways that are even more damaging than the blowback he is getting for not releasing the files."

The production of this Tokyo City Pop DJ mix is simply kawaii. I like the aunt and uncles having coffee and grooving to the tunes.  ;D

**** me sideways, this actually exists.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I love when music videos tell a story, especially interesting ones like this. Nice touch making all of the patron predators [except for the jackass (not sure why he was thrown in there)].

Ginger Root is one dude! He tours with other band mates, but he writes, performs, and records all of his albums himself, unless stated in the liner notes. He (and a bunch of other new-ish bands) kind of embodies the music I grew up loving in the '70s and '80s—that unconventional, wacky, electronic sound that somehow made it on mainstream radio back then. So good

Cool-ass video. Reminds me of when I'm spectating someone driving a Whiplash in Fortnite.
The song's not bad, either.

Last week I challenged myself to listen to an album every day. the first one that i listened to was hurry up we're dreaming by m83 and that was around a 7.5/10. The next one I listened to was In A Special Way by DeBarge and that was around a 6.3/10. The third one that I listened to was Tyler the Creator's new album "Don't Tap The Glass" and that was a 5.4/10, and then I listened to the superman and fantastic four soundtracks, i do not have a score for these but i found that the superman soundtrack and movie was better than the fantastic four movie as it is apparent that a lot got cut due to feigeism. I also listened to the Doom 1 and 2 soundtrack again no score for those. I finished it off by listening to the Sensual World (8.9/10) and Hounds Of Love (9.1) which were my favs of the week.
