what is good about the MX reds?
Reds and blacks are both non-tacticle (as opposed to browns and blues). They are less noisy than blues/browns and can be even further dampened with o-rings.
The difference between reds and blacks are that the blacks are "harder" to press down. That doesn't mean they're HARD to press down, but it's just that the reds offer less resistance when pushing the keys down.
The best would be if you could try them both before buying.
But yeah, I recommend the CM Quickfire Rapid as well (if backlight is not one of your requirements), it comes with black or red switches and is relatively cheap. And then I'd simlpy add o-rings to make it even more quiet.
What exactly are your requirements? You already said that you want a TLK (no numpad). What else? Backlight? ISO or ANSI layout? Danish layout?
