Bacon bark, chocolate-dipped bacon strips, bacon popcorn, bacon jam, bacon mustard... anyone else notice the theme here?
Giant Toblerone.
Hole saws.
Mounts for my GoPro.
Picture of my dog in a frame that says "Bad to the Bone" which is pretty true since he's spent the past few days being very naughty and eating all sorts of things he's not supposed to.
My gift to me: set of unprinted black keys (with spacebar), 4 blue unprinted keys, and 12 clear (unprinted) keys. Put the black keys and the blue keys on the Fraken M, and 8 of the clear ones on the 1390120. What I found odd was that the black keys from Unicomp were all single-piece, but the blue ones are two-piece.

I'm not sure what I like the most, today's haul isn't quite as cool (though pretty damn close) as the jerky and the new cab for my truck I already got.

OOOH! Shiny! Very nice JDCarpe. Quite envious. I want a handgun someday. Preferably a 1911 with a .45 slide and a .22 slide. .45 for everyday carry, but .22 when I want to go to the range and not break the bank.

People in Wisconsin need handguns?

Are there wars fought over cheese or something?

I just like my rights. :D I have quite a few guns. A shotgun for myself for trap shooting(870 with a Timney Trigger and a adjustable stock), 2 different shotguns for my sister for trapshooting since she's difficult (Remmington 870 stock, and a over-under that I can't recall at the moment), and a Montgomery Ward 30-30 for hunting.

Thanks Reaper... Glad to see you back to the correct avatar.  :P

I've had my eye on a Kimber Gold Match II 1911 for awhile myself, need to get my restricted license first though. :(

Just make sure you avoid remmington .22 ammo, it will make even the best shooter as accurate as a drunk Storm Trooper!

Amen! Never underestimate the value of good warm socks and long johns as winter comes upon you!

So, I don't know why I did it, but I ordered a QFR with greens today... Figure I'll give Cherry MX switches another chance and maybe hop in on that elvish group buy.

I LOVE blues. I've tried reds, blacks, and browns but I really think blues are my favorites. I do a lot of writing and it's just so much fun to type on them. Plus I never had complaints about playing games on them. Glad you agree haha.

That being said, I'd love to get my hands on as many switches as I can, just to try them out. I would love to get my hands on Mr. Interface's Switch Sample Bag. Either to buy or just to try out. But I hang out here so I don't really know what the rules are for buying on Deskthority. Oh well, hopefully they pop up on the marketplace here.

I LOVE blues. I've tried reds, blacks, and browns but I really think blues are my favorites. I do a lot of writing and it's just so much fun to type on them. Plus I never had complaints about playing games on them. Glad you agree haha.

Go check out the pay it forward thread in the classifieds. Or PM me haha

I have a WASD sample pack I'm trying to get rid of: http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/wasd-sampler-kit.html

It's lacking majorly compared to Mr Interface's bags though

My family doesn't usually do gifts (we're often overseas during Christmas anyway), but this year my parents decided to help me relive one of my childhood loves (I'm now 21) with this:

Such an awesome set!

not only is it the best toy, you got it in the best switch!
In which case you'll be happy to know that my Phantom will be my introduction to blues. :D

Blues rockkkkkk :) Although I'll have a board with Ergo Clears next week, so I hope I like those too.

What I did to get a taste of every switch was order one of each with my order of MX Clears from 7bit's GB on DT. So now I have 9 different Cherry switches (Clicky: Blue, Green, White; Tactile: Brown, Clear, Grey; Linear: Dark Grey, Black, Red; no MX Lock) as a little sampler. Pretty simple ordering just by sending a PM and it only cost me an extra $7 or so.

that's awesome. hopefully you like it!

Oh well, hopefully they pop up on the marketplace here.

green and white is the only switch after blues :)

Holy **** I'm so jealous of that Lego set. The shuttle is so amazing. Thanks for the tip about DT, I'll have to look into it. I've been on GH mainly so I don't know too much about DT.

Also, I am super intrigued by Ergo Clears. I'm really hoping I can try them one day.

It is pretty amazing :) It stands at around 47cm tall, so I've yet to find a shelf that fits it to display it in my room.

The only Lego sets I really like at this age are space-themed ones, Star Wars or large Technic vehicles.

My signature hasn't changed since 2012. I should really update it.

I really like space-themed sets and Spongebob-themed sets. Otherwise, I like vehicle sets too.

@hashbaz

Dude, the Lego starter set is SO good. I wanted to get the first set of the Lego Master Builder Academy. But I couldn't find it.

@sth

Redwall tattoo...Like the Brian Jacques Redwall book series?? I grew up on those books. They're amazing. What did you get inked?

@demik

I heard that greens are a stiffer blue and I've not heard that much about whites. What's your take on them?

whites are similar to greens IIRC.

i haven't typed on a board with one yet (MMB still has mine as he's switching out from brown to white) but i'll let you know when I get it.

Awesome, I'm looking forward to your opinion on the whites.
