CM Storm Quickfire Rapid

Anyone know how I can go about taking the logo off? It's a great keyboard but I prefer it without the logo.  Anyone know how I can remove it without damaging the surface of the keyboard?  Thank!

If you are looking to buy a new one the new boards have the branding removed out of the box.

Otherwise I would wait for the brandless top covers that are supposed to be getting released. The CM rep was mentioning them earlier.

I would not try to remove the branding yourself unless you want to sand it down and repaint the case.

Like Vintage says, you'll need to sand 'er down and repaint... Which also voids the warranty I believe. =(

I'm quite dubious as to the actually release of the case cover.. It's not exactly noob-safe easy to remove, and there's the warranty issue

Was in the same predicament with my QFT branded, just sold it and bought a unbranded. I wasn't happy until I was rid of that annoying badge.

The branding is not so bad once you swap out the keycaps - only one logo next to Esc and one just above the arrow keys.

It is possible to sand down the case to remove the logos - there are a couple of threads about that.

It is also possible to (spray) paint the case - there are threads about that too (mostly relating to Filco recently, but equially applicable).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
