I have to say, I do somewhat sympathize with them about the large L enter...it's actually kind of satisfying to have a huge key to slam when you finish a bit of text, and once you get used to it, it's hard to use a narrow enter key without half your text lines accidentally ending in \. That said, it has to be implemented sensibly, i.e. with a normal-sized backspace; I don't mind \ being moved, since I don't use it often, but a small backspace definitely reduces both speed and comfort.
