From the picture I saw of rarar (reddit), he appears to be about 10 years old. It's really no wonder that he was trying to profit by flipping a Clack when he saw he had the opportunity to do it. If you were 10, and someone offered you $250 for something you just bought for $35, you might get excited, too. But people have tried to educate him why this is wrong, and he's just being a douche if he continues with his auction.

That said, he really needs to just go back to reddit, and leave GH. He is not part of our community, nor does he wish to be a part. Maybe when he matures, he can rejoin and contribute something besides StarCraft plushies and wanton profiteering.

Besides, even if he doesn't sell his Mr. Friday here, I'm sure he'll just throw it up on eBay or reddit, and make all the money which is his desire to make.

I am a newb to GeekHack this Forum is a great place to find anything keyboard related and helped me find my keyboard nirvana. Being new I would love to have Skull Clack for one of my boards MX or Topre, but this totally childish behavior has no place here IMHO at GH even if this "rarar" is a child. He should stick with reddit with the childish behavior seems more appropriate and cultivated.

Pulling stupid crap is part of being a 15 year old. Yes, it is frustrating, ask any parent or teacher. But at the end of the day, you just hope their mom gives them a good spanking every now and again and move on. Can not say he is too young to be held accountable for his actions. But kids and the internet... what are you gonna do?

When I was 15 I worked at the market 7AM to 18PM on saturdays, at the local grocerystore on tuesday, thursday and friday afternoon, and I could barely afford a PC... let alone a 200 dollar keyboard (don't even have one now). Can not lie, kinda jelly.

lulz.  Well, I didn't grow up in NYC, I grew up in the middle of the midwest of these here United States.  When I was 15, my father found out that he could make me get a driver's license, if he swore to the State authorities that he needed me to work for him.  And work for him I did.  He made me drive one of his delivery trucks.  My father also found out that wage and child employment laws do not apply to one's own children, so he paid me a whopping $1 per day, in order to "teach me the value of a dollar".   I had to work before school at 5:00 AM, and after school until 6:30 PM.  And full time in the summer.  I could tell you more, but you would think I am making it up.  Needless to say, I spent a few years in therapy when I became an adult.

I actually met rarar in person ( and his Mom, lol) and sold him my Leopold.  He brought his hhkb for me to try as I hadn't tried topre switches before.  He is a good kid, but a 15 yo kid.  I'm sure many if us would have acted like this at 15 with an expensive keyboard addiction.  I'm not saying what he did wasn't really lame and immature, cauz it was, but people really didn't have to egg him on and personally attk him after he was muted.
