I don't understand where the disconnect between what we were trying to communicate and what 'others' perceived us to be trying to communicate began. I really don't understand where that spun off from because it was never said on the forum or in the channel. Never ever did anyone try to 'own' small fry or try to say its not ok for people, who were not here for him, to be shocked or confused about it. Simply after others expressed how it was kinda bumming them out to see another tribute GB from someone who had never met him did it start to seem a little too much. I think this whole thing has blown up into something it shouldn't have and I think especially in this thread there was a lot of unnecessary confusion.

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Plot twist.  Moz was just doing this to get a custom title.  Brought to you by M. Night Shamalamalamala.

That's all it takes to get a custom title? Damn. Time to hit the drawing board.

there are two fields for flavor text under your username. one is the "personal text" field which you have full control over. the other is the "custom title" field which only global moderators and above have access to. they are just fun little cookies to recognize certain folks and propagate funny in-jokes. in my experience, they end up being positive things that help build community, so we're trying them out for now at least.

I've only been on GH for a couple of months now but after reading this thread, if I could give all-y'all mother****ers a big ole' f***ing group hug I totally would do that. I never expected to like this forum as much as I do. :-*

please don't make smallfry a "thing" that only certain GHers should know/care about.

he is a member of this community. a brother to all of us. old and new.

+1

And I missed all the excitement, if you want to call it that.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

And to OP. Your apology is appreciated but personally I will be sitting out your first couple of groups buys after this outburst, nothing personal but I want to see how they're handled before I commit to anything.

No hard feelings sir, and I understand completely.

Well I demand Master of all Kittehs!!!

Sugar on top?

Either way, I know some people lose it, myself much included. But you've got to keep it in check. I guess just remember that you are talking to real people (sounds so dumb...) I know I forget that someone else is on the other end sometimes. This is a stupid comment lol!

Wow. It can't be that bad.  Looks like I missed something in IRC.

MOZ I don't forgive you. You don't need us to forgive you for what you've done to yourself. Apologise to yourself for acting like a fool. You should have every ability to think about your reputation before you post something. I have wrote some long thing and scraped it because a part of it could come off rude. If you "know" you should have been banned "many" times then why do you continue do the things you "know" will get you banned. Just find that filter of yours and pop it in your brain, mouth, finger, w/e. This is not a competition. No one is winning in anything. Chill out.

Yes sir, I I have relaxed since then, and I only realised I should have been banned after I relaxed, since then I have not posted anything out of anger, but only embarrassment.
