+1

If this is for real there should be an anonymous poll. not an open thread like this showing who voted for who.

I'd like to know as well. I started a serious thread in regard to jdcarpe for moderator. Then this spun off. I don't intend to say this is a joke. I'm just curious whether demik would actually like to be considered.

I always considered this thread to be more of a joke since there's no reason they should fight to be admin.

I consider they both could be and there's no need to fight over them. I always assumed that if the current admins wanted to promote them they could do it anytime anyway, no need for a poll or topic for that, much less a fight.

It still can be fun to post about it. And, like you said, there's a more serious topic about it anyway. Each topic it's goal!

1) no way in hell would the admins make me mod or admin. They know I have a short temper and don't deal with stupidity. So to save themselves the trouble of me causing trouble within the community they'll always skip me. Plus I'm not a vendor so I can't be mod like boost.

2) I don't want to be anyway. My sig is a joke and this thread is a joke. Admins and mods deal with too much crap that I don't want to put up with. There are better and more mentally stable people fit for the job than myself.

^this^

I don't even know why one would want to be a mod. I feel bad for the mods for having to deal with people like me.

Is this how jd would moderate?

(troll rushes jd)
JD: "Okay, you're at about a '9' and we need you at more of a '4'"
(jd makes adjustments to troll)

That may be so, but demik don't need no instructions to know how to rock.

I always considered this thread to be more of a joke since there's no reason they should fight to be admin.

I saw it as a joke thread because demik won't be a mod (again). For those that were around for a while and remember, demilk use to be a mod during the time I was one too. But he decided to step down. Plus demilk wouldn't be a good mod anyways (no offense buddy  :p ). Have you seen how many times he tries to fight people?

JD on the other hand, I can definitely see qualities of a mod. Even when he's mad and tells someone off, it's still somehow very classy and polite haha

i fail to see where he supported you
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Lol "step down" if by that you mean kicked off without an explanation or pm from anybody than sure I stepped down.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

If it weren't for their vendor affiliation, I would have guessed da sifo and da captain were next up for mod.
