That may very well be egoism..

But you can not simply THROW IT OUT...  Given the limited capacities of one small person, without egoism, there would be a tremendous loss in motivation..

Our mental and physical state can only exist in a state of disequilibrium...   The egomaniacs may have evolved due the the increased emphasis on sustained-efforts required of "individuals"...

Is there a point where this adaptation could become a Problem.. Yes, potentially... but there is NO Question as to what this world yearns for, people who are Unfulfillable, perpetually-hungry, and continuously-WORKING...

I don't believe what you said agrees with the modern understanding of astrophysics.  The big bang was actually the beginning of space and time.

That is the result from an intuitive understanding of one's own biology...

You DO in fact carry on, through reproduction...

But why is it so harmful that we absolutely NEED senescence between generations...

Senescence, so far is believed to be irreparable changes in the growth cycle.. some cells just wear out and are in places that cannot be replaced by your body..

There's no reason why an OLD computer could not still be useful...  Just as Old humans could be useful as well...

They "theorize" these things..  We don't know what came before.. and it may very well be that we are too simple a life form to actually grasp the concepts necessary to understand "that much" about the universe..

When we try to observe our world it has beginnings and ends... but does the UNIVERSE really have such limits...
