i told you!
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

People who go 30-35 in a 45mph zone, or driving 10-25mph under the speed limit in perfect conditions for that matter  It's even worse when they drive two abreast and **** up traffic for everyone.  That or the people who feel it's appropriate to try and mergeonto the freeway at 30-40mph.  Are you trying to kill someone?

And if you're turning in at a parking lot, signal and get over so people can pass you instead of slowing to a crawl and turning from the middle of the lane.

In one week I lost my fiance of 5 years, my job, my car broke down, and had to move back into my parents. Thank god this week is almost over.

Damn...  Remember we're always here for you if you need anything.  Hope things improve for you, this is a far worse week than anyone deserves.  :(

Trying hard and displaying effort in the workplace always translates into co-workers being able to slack and take advantage.

Ever have "group projects" in school where you always end up doing all the work and no one else contributes?? Doesn't change as you get older, better get used to it

i had awful diarrhea due to antibiotics and decided to eat korean instant noodles. it won't be worse.

i forgot to wear my belt and my usb cable is charging my phone so osi's method is not applicable. and my ass is too tiny to hold the pants.

i've watched a bunch of motivating dash cam videos and now am scared to go out.

my xc bike is at my parents' 700km away. and i'm not sure that winter tyres will fit my road bike. so, no cycling until the pavements are clean.

Just had this short conversation with a coworker:

Tim: "Hey, there's the man in the closet!" (referring to my location in the corner of the Helpdesk office).
Me: "Hey Tim, how's it going?"
Tim: "Good, good... how're you?"
Me: "Good, how are you?"

Petty bull**** in the workplace.  Someone decided I'd make a fun target since I disagreed with them on something once, even though I was respectful, polite, and rational throughout the whole disagreement.

I had a HGV pull into the fast lane in front of me on the motorway this morning. Him and another lorry were overtaking a third in the slow lane, and he thought the guy in front was overtaking too slowly, so he pulled into the fast lane and we had HGVs three abreast.

**** me up. Should have taken a picture but I wanted to get out of there with my life.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Went to take a picture with my brand spanking new HTC One M8 (like 10 days old) and it doesn't turn on.  I'm trying some things I've read to see if I can get it to boot, but my babied phone may be dead after barely even using it.

Can't remember my Skype password.

This happens to me *all the time*. So obnoxious.  :(

i always insist that it's the computer that forgot :p

Haha that's true though! If you tell it to remember you and then it asks again...why did it forget??

Drive safely :)

Or passenger safely if your wife is driving ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Aggressive people. Fights. Getting caught by cops after a fight.

Getting all sweaty after cycling in -15. Getting my feet cold after cycling in -15.

Generally, sweating too much.

Forthcoming new year and Christmas holidays.
