Also,  Indian food is just too greasy.

Oily, is what you're looking for. Not greasy.

Oily =/= Greasy ?

there are a lot of healthy oil options, but no healthy grease options

I would argue that an oily dish comes from adding "too much" cooking oils during the cooking process and greasy foods are naturally fatty/oily foods that release additional fat/oil when cooked.

If your brisket is dry whoever cooked it ****ed it up. Brisket is dead ass simple. Put on smoker at 225. When internal temp hits 165 you remove, add moisture (tallow, butter, or water), wrap, place back on until temp is 201-203, rest for several hours to overnight. Brisket is like 30%+ fat.

whoever cooked it ****ed it up

Brisket is inherently tough, so care must be taken when cooking it. 2 critical concepts are "low and slow" and "keep it moist"

There are many ways to do it, but you must not let it dry out.

No matter how well brisket is cooked. The texture is just bad//dryish even doused in sauce.

Generally brisket is cut 2 different ways, aptly named 'lean' and 'moist'
Moist brisket has a larger fat cap that melts into the meat as you cook. Also many places will oven cook, then smoke it to make it faster, vs low and slow all-day smoking.

Nah that's wrong. Brisket was one of the best things I had before I stopped eating meat. Does need to be cooked correctly, otherwise it is pretty bad.

Man, exercise is absolutely ****ing awful. Every single time after I workout, forget anything planned for the rest of the day, that day is done. It makes me dizzy, nauseous, gives me a headache, makes me extremely sweaty and uncomfertable, makes my left arm tendons hurt like hell, I'm just pissed off and angry for the entire rest of the day, and can't sleep well any day I exercise intensely.
People say you get an endorphin rush? Absolute horse ****. They say it improves your mood? Literally the opposite. They say it gives you more energy for the rest of the day? Literally ruins the entire rest of my day. Then I just feel like garbage for the next 48hrs and that just gets worse from not being able to sleep.
Exercise is just 100% sheer torture, zero redeeming qualities other than you kinda need to do it to stay healthy and fit. Just terrible.
People who exercise 1st thing in the morning need to be institutionalized.

and can't sleep well

you kinda need to do it to stay healthy and fit.

I won't attempt to speak to most of your points, but I will respond to these 2.

Nights after exercising I sleep much better than nights that I don't.

Regardless of how I feel immediately after exercise, it improves my spirit to know that I am striving to improve my health. Placebo effect?

edit - "exercise" is a loose term - to me it would include mowing the yard, going on a hike, etc - not just gym or track efforts

I can relate to some of your complaints and think that the answer to your complaints is to modify your workouts until you reach a sweet spot.

First, morning workouts definitely sap my energy for the rest of the day but I’m retired and don’t need to be as productive as in the past. As important as regular exercise is, it may be better to workout after all of your other responsibilities. Later workouts also will help your sleep as long as it’s not too close to bedtime.

Second, you may be pushing yourself too hard. Joint issues are a good sign of either doing too much volume or intensity. Relax. You’re young and don’t need to meet all of your health and fitness goals in three months. Consistency is the key to lasting good health and fitness.

Third, realize that we all progress at different rates. Don’t think that you need to improve at the same rate as the next person. Even a slight improvement is better that doing nothing and regressing. You need to find a way to enjoy exercising or you wil not be able to keep it as a regular part of your life. The gym may not be your thing. Maybe you’ll find your best fit on the track or court, hiking in the hills, moving on the dance floor, or in a pool.

The important thing to remember is that these wonderful bodies of ours are made to move, rest, and be fed. Ignore any of these areas and they will let us know , one way or another.

You're right, I shoulda qualified. Specifically aerobic exercise - I'm recently into boxing, which gets you real sweaty and tired real fast. Plus one of the training exercises is jogging, one of my least favorite activities to do ever.
Lifting weights is actually not so bad, you can kinda zone out doing it.

I used to enjoy jogging until my knees started losing their mojo.

Ideal for zoning out, plus fresh air and sunshine.

If you're nauseous after a workout, you need to hydrate more and probably are salt depleted which isn't helping. It's gonna suck until you adjust and you're not making the adjustment easier

The difference between regular and purified air is very stark. Especially the typical hotel-air, it's so bad.

It's not so much purified as the mount of fresh air pumped in.

More fresh air means more power to heat/cool and therefore more money.

However unfresh that air is, it's dusty. Open the shades early morning with the lights off, and you can see how ridiculously hazy it is in the rooms. Every hotel from 2-5 stars.

What can one say, if y'all are in the North Carolina, Try this place, it's a major chain serving square on mediocrity.

Basically, the restaurant is dedicated to the flavor of Sugar.  Literally everything taste like it was dipped in white powder.

Tp4 didn't eat ne of the meat, but the other guys did, one word, sugar, seriously, this place, omg, this is why humanity is doomed, the fact that this place exists, that they have hundreds of seats, means tons of people actually eat here.

It's a bit disconcerting.

There is culture and there is "that".

Even though we know there are no hard-rules in the universe on how something aught to look. We do know to some degree that certain body / aesthetic configurations are indicators of sub-optimal/ negative life choices/ consequences.

Because human society is in the mean-time homeostatic, there is large accommodation for non-pragmatic specs,  this is likely to change very soon, prejudice will rise significantly when food becomes scarce again, and tolerance is significantly reduced to align with resource goals.

Yes this is absurd, the autism is getting worse, if that's even a thing.

Seriously...
Where did they get those clowns?

Show Image

First I thought I must have switched to some recap of Eurovision...

Bunch of drag queens, a guy with his balls sticking out of his pants and that ginger smerf. WTF people?!
what's this?
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

These god damn kuriyans aren't drinking their ramen soup, instead dumping it in the mountain ecosystem on their hikes.

""South Korea’s highest mountain is facing environmental damage from an unexpected source – instant noodles.

The National Park Office of Mount Halla has started a campaign to encourage hikers not to dump ramyun broth on the mountain or in its streams in order to preserve a “clean environment,” according to a press release. "

“Ramen broth contains a lot of salt, so discarding it along the valley’s water stream makes it impossible for aquatic insects to live in contaminated water,”"

Have you ever been almost animalistically attracted to someone you are not mentally or physically attracted to? Like, you don't find them particularly good looking/not your type, or have anything interesting to talk to or click with personality wise, but your body wants to **** them so bad?
Maybe it happens to 'normal' people more often, but I've never experienced it before.

You are sick NT,  these thoughts can not be trusted.

For example, women who are on pregnancy medication prefer men they otherwise would NOT have preferred when off the chemicals.

We're living in plastic soup, irradiated air

See, what's weird is I almost never get those thoughts. I'm bordering a-sex, but once every like 5-6 years or so I'll meet someone who I'm inexplicably attracted to that doesn't meet any of the criteria for my norms.
There is something there, I'd like to get rid of. I'm better off alone anyway.

This happens to normal people all the time. Modern technology has imperfectly de-coupled sex and reproduction, but the connection is undeniable.

JD Vance is obsessed with the "unwanted children" problem, and for all his horribleness, he understands the need for children to be born into families.
How the hell or why did you become a DEMO-crat?” He asked.
“Long story, but it started with Nixon, then I was educated and know history as the Republicans are all about getting power to exploit it to their benefit, while Democratic politicians, for the most part, are for distributing things more equitably. I’ll finish with the overwhelming sociological and psychological evidence in studies that identify that conservatives see the world through inherent inequity where the elite or those who seek to be elite are superior to the commoners, and it is they who should lead. At the same time, liberals look at the world as inequality and seek to make the world more equitable, and that all should be represented. Ultimately, conservatives trust those in authority, while liberals inherently distrust those in authority to take advantage for themselves or their constituency.”
He looks up and says, “No one ever explained that to me, and then asks, “If **** Cheney thinks that Trump is that bad, then it's not about DEMO-crats vs Republicans, is it.”
I resume walking and then say, “Hey, you got it; it's the Democratic and old Republican parties versus Trumpism, which is American fascism aided by the Russians.”

Tp4 would argue it doesn't happen to normal people,   it's that there aren't many Normal-People left.

The technology has not only decoupled sex and reproduction, more precisely it has isolated Hedonism as the only desired consequence of ALL human endeavor, the problem is far more pervasive and destructive.

Without the mentality / education to regulate desire,  there is indeed only 1 possible outcome in the next 20-30 years.  Annihilation.

OMG, this stupid rice cooker UI, you have to press Start Twice to initiate cooking.

Tp4 only pressed it once this time,  now must wait another whole hour.

RX6400 is NOT cheap.

This is the lowest you can go for hdmi 2.1 for movie output. Yet it's $120 on amazon. That's alot just to get a port.

We have lost electricity here every day this week, and I live inside the city limits of a decent-sized city.

Just now it was an hour, but Tuesday it was 3:30pm to Wednesday 5:00am!

Move to Las Vegas. They got those cool solar thermal power plants outside the city.

Got to live near a hospital, or have your own backup generators.

But Zombie movies clearly predicts that if you live near the hospital, you will be among the first wave to contract the T-Virus.

So low at this point, the past few weeks I've been fasting every other day because I literally do not have enough money for food every day. A college degree, a decade of experience, all the skill and drive in the World, and I have less than $14 to my name. IDK how I'm even going to eat this week.
I just feel so useless, unwanted, and defeated. I did all the things people tell you to as a kid, "Work hard, believe in yourself, learn skills, get a degree" and I have done nothing but fail constantly.

Sorry for the constant pity parade, it makes me sick too. It is so hard to maintain any shred of positivity when it goes on for so long. Just needed someone to hear it, even if it is just some keyboard forum on the Internet. I'll shut up now.
