Lol the issue really isn't the explanation. Yeah I understand if I going to actually use physics I need to know as to why and how I can use this formula. But I am just annoyed at the fact that I need to learn physics for one semester and I am never going to touch the subject again Because it's a general education class. I just want to get my homework done to get points :'( I don't want to read the book lol. Why are we forced to learned irrevelant subjects?

Basically I'm lazy

What are you actually studying?
What isn't he studying?

Signature is a genius why don't you guys mod him

Well what can I say, iamverysmart
Very busy with studies atm.

It's 11:30pm and I'm going to bed. Don't need to for a couple of hours, could do anything. Have personal and paid projects I could/should work on but can't get motivated. I blame the helpful guy at work for making me think about this crap (what I'm doing with my life) again, though I know he menans well.

When I lived in Chicago, I remember my right hand started bleeding because I used to take a glove off for five seconds to fish my door key out of my pocket. My car froze shut in one day. I didn't see the unobstructed sun for weeks on end.

I don't understand how people live in the northern part of the midwest.

Car freezing shut is awful, and easy to happen. Just get it nice and wet, then let the temp drop well below freezing that night. Aarrrgghh!

Lol sorry guys. I forget I'm SoCal privileged.>_>
It's 46 degrees right now which is like pretty much as cold as it usually gets. Sometimes it gets into the 30s in the middle of the night but not very common.

Laundry. Specifically socks, and even more specifically those which come labeled "left" and "right". If you buy these dumb ass socks and don't do your own laundry you have no room to complain if two lefts end up being paired up. Your feet will survive.

Left foot and right foot socks. Absurd.

It's pouring, there's a seal somewhere in my car that's done for and water is getting in. I think it knows I'm getting rid of it soon and is making my life hell.

The one with the HHKB number plates?

Do you get to keep the plates?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Typical winter in Russia: -25 outside, +25 inside.

Typical winter in the UK: +10 outside, +15 inside.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

That reminds me of a certain retail photo lab. Customers would drop their flashcards in the 3.5" floppy drive and ask me why the machine was not reading their card. My favorite was when a customer placed a slim cd jewel case and cd in the drive. You're definitely not alone.

Ah yes, the thing everyone in any support job wants to say. Unfortunately it usually results in something like "Senor Hoff, please come into my office. I have this here pink slip for you...."

Woman at work complains that her departments printer is still jamming (Canon was just out to fix it).

"Well, I went to make 1 copy, but accidentally pressed an extra 1 (11 copies). It wouldn't stop so I just turned off the printer, and then it jammed"

"Fix your own mistakes, lady."

No, no. Always post comment first *then* unplug computer. The internet needs to know about all the pain.

Thought I put an address in correctly on Google maps.  Drive out there. Wrong address.  Drove an additional 30 miles or so.  Oops.

That's my pretend F-you to management if I were in IT.  If they're as clueless as described, hopefully it would annoy them for awhile.

(Note, I would (probably) never do this, I'm just being an ass)

Someone just came over to my cube to ask me a question. That's all find and good. I don't mind helping people. But then I look down and the dude has no shoes on. WTF is that! This is an office! Where are your shoes!?! It's not like he sits close to me, he had to walk down a hallway.

When I was a co-op I would take my shoes off at my desk.  Steel toe shoes almost never breath well so I'll take weird sock guy over trenchfoot, thanks.  :P  (I know this isn't what that guy was doing)

I take my shoes off at my desk all the time. Especially with heels cause they can be a pain when you wear them all day. But if I go perusing about the office grounds, I'm putting them back on.

I'm very sure that some steel toes breathe quite well through this vast empty space between the molecules.
