It's 11:30pm and I'm going to bed. Don't need to for a couple of hours, could do anything. Have personal and paid projects I could/should work on but can't get motivated. I blame the helpful guy at work for making me think about this crap (what I'm doing with my life) again, though I know he menans well.

I don't understand how people live in the northern part of the midwest.

It's 46 degrees right now which is like pretty much as cold as it usually gets. Sometimes it gets into the 30s in the middle of the night but not very common.

EDIT: Woman at work complains that her departments printer is still jamming (Canon was just out to fix it).

"Well, I went to make 1 copy, but accidentally pressed an extra 1 (11 copies). It wouldn't stop so I just turned off the printer, and then it jammed"

I just want to say that I can sympathize with all of these bothers. You are not alone.
That reminds me of a certain retail photo lab. Customers would drop their flashcards in the 3.5" floppy drive and ask me why the machine was not reading their card. My favorite was when a customer placed a slim cd jewel case and cd in the drive. You're definitely not alone.

When I was a co-op I would take my shoes off at my desk.  Steel toe shoes almost never breath well so I'll take weird sock guy over trenchfoot, thanks.  :P  (I know this isn't what that guy was doing)

I take my shoes off at my desk all the time. Especially with heels cause they can be a pain when you wear them all day. But if I go perusing about the office grounds, I'm putting them back on.
