Found out today unofficially that my company may merge with another company this year... Not been feeling great about my job security recently.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

you realize that means you get a free 20,000 if your company is publicly traded right?

very generally if your company gets purchased, the stock prices go up..

And this doesn't count as insiders trading.

Sad that I can't cash in my shares for another 18 months. It will make us pretty huge, but still, it's a bit of an unknown quantity.

Do you have any examples?  I can't remember any time someone has done this around me...  Hopefully it's not one of those "if you don't know who the ******* is, it's you" kind of things...

Sorry, probably not the best way to phrase that. I have a coworker that is a constant screw up and she likes to play the martyr and say woe is me all the time. She takes the blame for everything but then doesn't know how to take criticism and improve. I could've put my original post better but I was all wound up when I posted.   >:D

The fact that I've gotten too fat to fit into most of my clothes. *cries*
And now I'm trying to find someone/somewhere who will take them.
A lot of them I didn't even get the chance to wear either.

First world girl problems that none of you can probably relate to. :(

Why ditch the clothes instead of making it a goal to fit in them?  I've gained some weight over the last few years, but I know that if I got rid of all my old clothes then my motivation to lose the weight would be diminished (I'd have to re-stock my wardrobe, which is only *more* effort in addition to losing the weight in the first place).  My current goal is to get back into my old pants.  :))

I feel you I stopped running for a year and I gained about 35 pounds  :-X I'm already down 20 but it really sucked not being able to wear most of my stuff.

I guess I shouldn't use the term fat so loosely lol.
I used to be like a full grown 5'6" woman who weighed like 95lbs because I would never eat due to my anxiety disorder.
But now I'm happy and a healthy weight.
But none of my XXS/XS tiny little clothes fit because I'm an average weight now.

So TLDR, I need to stop complaining about nothing and buy cute new clothes.

Wow, thanks for the great advice self.

I went and dug up this picture. I think this was MLG Anaheim 2013 if I remember correctly.
Let's marvel at this hilarious picture of fetus asdfjkl36 in his poofy hair phase but really to show how I was like creepy skeletor 90lbs.
Or mostly to laugh at Ed's hair

This picture should probably go in the what makes you happy thread though.

there are lots of crazy people in Math..

the majority of them are odd, and not all there..

almost all of them are good people though.. they can be difficult.. but most generally good people.

You'd also have to believe that it is that very deficiency which signifies more of their brain area is dedicated to unraveling the great mysteries.

Definitely a lot of weird people.

Being a good person is a bit subjective. They aren't bad people, but they aren't good people in the best of ways.
But that's besides the point

If you say something like "so if a number is positive, it's > 0? And if a number is negative, it's < 0?"

Or some **** like that, and you got a better grade than me on the test, then I'm going to be bothered by that >.>

So if they're an idiot in my eyes, then what am I

there are lots of crazy people in Math..

the majority of them are odd, and not all there..

almost all of them are good people though.. they can be difficult.. but most generally good people.

Well, think of it this way...   Life is fundamentally an RPG..

Everyone spends exp differently on their character sheet..

It so happens that those guyzus had more points in academic excellence than you do.

You probably have more exp in something else, pushups/fitness/keyboards for example.

It's important to remember that the goal is not to defeat your opponent, rather to prove you are a more suitable expense on humanity's journey to confront the onslaught of the universe.

So, i guess, what I'm saying is..  You're probably both lvl 45 characters,  but you've got a different build.. and therefore serve a different purpose.

He might be an intelligence mage,   and you may be a tank-acolyte.

Demik prolly speaks perfect spanish.. he's just playin' dum to gain sympathy points, which increase the odds of latin internet babes reaching out to him for contact information in attempts to heal him..

/Wide swing.

TP, there is no one I can think of here on GH that needs more of a positive female influence then you. I hope you get some "internet babes" that will set your wacky mind straight.  :p

Well if life is an RPG, I blindly put all my points into useless skill sets and realized I can't reset my skills.

So I either play the rest of the game or delete my character and start over.

(⌐■ ͜ʖ■)

Quien es demik. Yo so dimek.

It's "Yo soy demik." You not only mess up your own name, you butcher a beautiful language's present-tense verb.
Fite me

It's a rougelike, so no restarts..  Though technically, if you view life as a continuation rather than a singular instance of play..  then your children would theoretically be the restart..    But then there are the dangers of over-parenting..

So it's kinda like when you try to Enchant your weapon, and if you put too many crystals on it, the weapon could break or come out crummy.
