Link is pretty fem' to begin with.

So if linkle is the continuation.. they've essentially just finished the job..

In that way,  it's less male gaze, and more of a balanced perspective..


And, actually, if you look at Japanese culture, its never pursued the hyper-masculine visuals.

Even general considerations for an attractive male SINCE EVEN BEFORE KPOP, has been a somewhat thin framed, girlish boy..

Great for young girls too.
And there's nothing wrong with how she looks either.
